| Earth (Amanda) Day The challenge this week is for Earth Day. Laura's Son, Chewie, renamed Earth Day as Amanda Day for whatever reason no one knows, so now we call it Amanda Day in Zentangle World. So here is my Amanda Day tile and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. I did something I don't always do and that was an excerise I read on www.zentangle.com today. Maria talked about how she can mindlessly draw on a tile without thinking of other things but focusing on what she wants to put on her tile. She begins with what she calls her mac n' cheese tangles, meaning her comfort tangles, that could be old stand by tangles that you always enjoy drawing. So that is how I began today, I thought of two tangles I really enjoy and away I went without looking at pictures or other tangles for inspiration, just going with the flow. I am pleased at how it tuned out and it was a relaxing experience. |
