Here are the Zentangle tiles from a basic class given last week.  Sheri and Lynn brought their daughters along for the class.  They did a great job.

The challenge this week was Quandry, the new tangle pattern by Maria and Rick.

Challenge 107

Weekly Challenge # 107 Quandry

This week's challenge is the new Zentangle Quandry by Maria and Rick.  Maria introduced Quandry last week.  The Diva gave us Quandry as our challenge this week and I am happy that she did.  This is a great tangle and I have been having fun with it since I first saw this tangle.  Just follow the step out above and have some fun playing.

Diva Challenge Snake

This week the Diva Challenge is The Year of the Snake.

Year of the Snake

The Diva Challenge this week is for the Chinese New Year 2013, The Year of the Snake.  A bit challenging at first, Laura suggested to google chinese patterns.  Wow,
there are so many to look at, however, my interest was drawing a snake.  The chinese pattens gave me some inspiration as to what I wanted to do.  As you can see, I did not start with a string on my tile, I started with the rings and added the snake.  I like how it turned out.  Now I need to get started on my ATC exchange.  This will be the first time I have ever made artist trading cards.  I will post them as they are completed.  Go to Laura's, "I am the Diva".

Morris Watercolor Guild

What a fun day with members of the Morris Watercolor Guild.  This was a Zentangle Basic class and everyone got one tile completed and some started their second tile.  I want to thank Sherry Miller for her invitation to me for the class, I enjoyed meeting everyone yesterday.  You can click on the pic to enlarge it and look at the great job everyone did.  Sherry showed me one of her books of Zentangles and she is outstanding in creating her designs.  Her favorites are dragons and fairies and they are beautiful.  Sherry is so good at Zentangles she should be teaching it herself.

Thank you Morris Watercolor Guild.
