Garden Zen Swap
I have started to make my ATC's for the Nature Zen Swap. I need to make 16 ATC's to exchange and I am so enjoying this swap. We are asked to zentangle anything pertaining to nature and color the cards. I have been experimenting with different mediums. The upper left hand corner card and the two cards on the bottom were colored with Irojiten color pencils. The upper right hand card and the left hand card in the middle were colored with Derwent color pencils. The card on the right in the middle row was colored with Copic Markers. This card was the most challenging card for me to color because copic markers are new for me and I am learning how to use them. You can see how intense the color is and they are fast. I will be going to a copic marker certification class for basic copic markers next week. This will be a wonderful day I am sure. I just ordered Derwent Inktense Pencils and am waiting for them to arrive so I can practice using them, their color is bright too. I am practicing drawing tangle tropical gardens using Cheryl Moots ebook on tropical gardens. She has a wonderful selection of tropical plants to draw and tangle and it is challenging to determine what tangles to put on each plant. Please leave your comments and come back to see the rest of my Nature Zen Swap collection.
