Here are my first attempts to designing a Zentangle art piece called "Dingbatz". This is an ornamental design used in the type industry. They can be put at the end of letters or greeting cards, etc. They basically are a design you can add to other art you create. This has been designed by Maria Thomas from Zentangle. She creates these in some of her illustrations and designs. You fill them spaces with Zentangle tangles or your own tangles.
This is a lid to a jewelry box I am painting. The painting and antiquing is completed on the top of the lid. Next I will be painting to rest of the outer part of the box to make it look like burled wood. The inside will be painted, decoupaged and adding some velveteen to the bottom. Hopefully, I will finish this project soon. I will post as the project progresses. Comments welcomed.
